Duck, jump, take cover, duck, use the right weapons with the right enemies, use alt-fire often, duck, run, don't stay in the open for too much if you're not sure you can do that, don't try to tank, use your inventory wisely, use well the dynamites and their counterparts (proximity, remote) and finally: fucking duck

I'm starting to think Monolith's Blood is better than Id's Doom, it has better art direction and level design and the weapons feel more satisfying and cathartic (The Dynamite Bundle is my favorite explosive weapon in any retro FPS)

Reason 1: During testing, the devs kept getting good at the game, and thus decided "Gosh, this is too easy, we should make it more challenging!". You'd see this mindset a lot in Japanese platformers of the 80's and 90's too.

Reason 2: the damage scaling for difficulties is actually bugged. On higher difficulties you take less damage, and on lower difficulties you take more damage.

Aside from having the damage scaling fixed, I kind of like how harsh the game is.

Is it possible to change the behavior of enemies? Specifically, the way they move?
I'd like to be able to smooth it out so it's more like the enemies in Blood that have smooth turning angles.
