* No restrictions on theme or level size, just make sure it’s achievable by the deadline.

* This project will use the “Blood Texture Pack v03 Beta”, you can find it here http://blood.freeminded.de/index.php?section=misc&id=593
or in the MAPEDIT archive https://archive.org/details/BloodMapedit

* Custom MIDI’s are allowed and encouraged, submit them in a .zip along with your map file.

* If you want custom messages in the .ini, put a text document in your submitted .zip file with the order of your messages and details on when you want them to appear. Example: (Message1 “A clever and witty message”, shown after the player picks up the skull key)

* Submit your maps link here or on the discord channel. Be sure to specify it’s for 450ml, along with your maps title and author name. MIDI and messages are optional.

* Make sure your submitted map is beatable in Nblood and Build Gdx

* Map’s must be submitted by November 10th 2020, Try to make them beatable by Halloween.

*Have fun and be sure to share your progress screenshots with everyone :)

Build took doom's formula and elevated it to the next level.
Quake was more of a sidestep, but a damn good sidestep. I still hang around on QW servers from time to time, zipping around at 666 UPS while spamming rockets is the pinnacle of FPS.
There's 3 kinds of people who rate Doom above all else: contrarians, literal unironic boomers (John Romero's age bracket) and zoomer hipsters trying to seem cool. And there's the 4th kind I suppose but they're the kind who'd host a brutal doom zandronum server, so we don't talk about them.

Duck, jump, take cover, duck, use the right weapons with the right enemies, use alt-fire often, duck, run, don't stay in the open for too much if you're not sure you can do that, don't try to tank, use your inventory wisely, use well the dynamites and their counterparts (proximity, remote) and finally: fucking duck

I'm starting to think Monolith's Blood is better than Id's Doom, it has better art direction and level design and the weapons feel more satisfying and cathartic (The Dynamite Bundle is my favorite explosive weapon in any retro FPS)
