i tried to believe in God. I gave it a chance. I read 3/4 of the bible, went to church, and prayed. As much as I tried, the God from the bible does not make any sense. We're supposed to believe in only certain prophets, even though there were hundreds of them, that claimed that God spoke to them, and all God usually said was that some random dirt town is going to be destroyed by his vengence because they dont believe in him. Yet God doesnt talk to anyone today or bothers to let himself be known. I can bring myself to believe in some force of life, what ever it is that makes cells divide and makes DNA spread itself over generations. Yeah, I just did a comparison of the VZ/T fundamentals a little while ago and am intending to buy some VZ. When my son got into a stock program it was the one stock out of 3 choices that he made (I advised ABBV, ALL, and TSCO). This was back in Feb 2021 so you can check the charts and see how well that went. The program later allowed selling one and buying a new one so VZ was let go and swapped for LDOS which did great until very recently. Unfortunately there is no buy/sell control allowed outside of the isolated occasions so one must make the best possible decision from the allowed choices (about 140 stocks each time, all S&P 500) for the duration of the program. He sure does wish he would have gotten TSCO when I said. Now looks like a pretty good time for some VZ though, especially with that divy, and T is fundamentally terrible at managing their asset/equity returns.
