Just finished it, UV max all levels.

Despite all I'm about to say, I enjoyed the romp and would encourage others here to play and share their thoughts.
For reference, I played this with High Noon Drifter, listening to megaman music not vanilla music which when you make future levels, D_Runnin is never well received.

The good:
>Fun, easy blasting, couldn't relax but didn't have to engage my brain a whole lot
>Didn't get lost
>See that you tried to mix up things with height variations now and then
>Good pacing of ammo and pickups, but could have used RL slightly earlier and with a bit more ammo, maybe just 10 more

The rest:
>same lighting basically everywhere
>almost every fight takes place from only one direction
>very blandly detailed

Lots of imps/chaingunners in moster closets are not a great threat when there is only one closet and I can face them down with an SSG as two blasts clears out the whole herd. There also wasn't a whole lot of "interconnectivity", like you never saw an upcoming area, or another area from a different angle until you were right in it. Areas wouldn't change much while in them and things were very much on a rail. It seemed very 90's.

All that said though I really didn't mind it as I don't think that's' what you were really gunning for anyway.
