It's strange but even after singing so many songs now, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=82T8yOG5MTk is probably still my favorite.

Not sure what could actually top it. It just feels so perfect.
That's not to say today's karaoke didn't have absolutely amazing performances, it sure did, just saying her Fly me to the Moon is so perfect I'd still put it as my personal #1

i've spent three decades poring over music, learning to play it, playing in bands, listening to thousands and thousands of hours of anything i could get my hands on. i've been to hundreds of concerts of all different kinds of music, from tiny rock and pop acts made up of people i know, on up to top international symphonies and everything in between. i've heard singers of all ages from all over the world with all different levels of ability and different kinds of voices.

nothing touches me like gura's singing. nothing even comes close.

i've spent hours trying to understand why. i can find reasons here and there that her voice is unusual or interesting. i can find reasons that she's definitely above average. but there's nothing that completely explains the effect she has on me. i've felt inspired by performances before, but when gura sings it's completely overwhelming for me. it's like some form of madness; it's like i am bewitched by some supernatural power. i am completely helpless to resist it and i just sit there with my mouth agape and my heart pounding and tears pouring down my face.

i am sure this kind of reaction is uncommon, but i am also sure i'm not the only one.
