It's called "creativity." Anyway, serious answer, it's an attempt to add visual interest to what would otherwise just be a plain pair of straight-front slacks. An interesting experiment, but I'm not sure it works in the context of such a rigid design. I'd have gone with a holster instead.
I think the asymmetrical cut leg design can work really well, but the cut needs to be higher, otherwise it starts to remind people of Tidus, and nobody wants to remember Tidus.

Because the world has to bend over backwards for a zombie plague of slow dumbos to work. It forces incompetent characters for the plot to advance, rather than good zombies. Like, make a wall, 3m tall, a watch tower or two. Bam. Safe forever. But with super zombies, the characters have to actually be smart and resourceful and the plot can advance even when the people are actually doing things right.

Well that's because you are seeing it wrong. Zombies are never meant to be "the ultimate unstoppable threat" in that kind of scenario. All the cliches come from Day of the Dead and similar movies that worked those perfectly: how compliance and human pride/greed fucks you over even when facing a dumb and stupid adversary.
You build the wall. Good. Now how do you feed the people inside? did you build near a river? are the checkpoints strict? is the church going well so the religious crowd doesnt fuck everything up? is the lab running so the cientistis dont fuck up? how do you build the wall?
The beauty of slow zombies is that they dont seem urgent, except they are. I once read a book that was kind of bad but it had the correct idea of taking place at the second outbreak

Alright, I don't really like doing this because I want to be able to do this on my own but I'm struggling a bit for some reason, and need some advice.

Where I'm at in my fic, the mc went to bed for the night. I had this idea to possibly add a scene between the mc going to sleep and waking up. I'm struggling if it should be a flash back, A foreshadowing of characters tied to an event later in the chapter, or something foreshadowing an event in a later chapter, or if I even need this scene at all and should just have the mc go to sleep then wake up but that seems weird to me too. I'm more than likely overthinking it but maybe someone can give me a nudge or a kick in the ass to help me a little

If the scene is plot relevant,why is it a dream? is it a prophetic dream? is it a realization? is it a self fullfilling prophecy?

If the scene is not plot relevant but still important, why is it there? character building? foreshadowing? what's its purpose?

If the scene is not plot relevant and not important. Why are you hung up on it? is it part of something else? is it necessary that its there? can it be moved? can it be cut?

Well I think it largely depends on what you want to convey to the reader at that point in time. Is your MC possibly having some emotional or mental stress over something at the time? If so a dream can be their attempt to work through it, and it doesn't need to be overly complicated or involved either. A simple orchestration of heavy emotions followed by either waking to an epiphany, or a cold sweat. A little sprinkle of foreshadowing is never a bad idea either, but if it's something that happens later in the same chapter, it can be kinda vague since it'll be reached soon.
As for flashbacks, if it's a relevant past event to whatever the MC is experiencing in the present, that could be appropriate, but be careful with how detailed you get with it. Sometimes what can be done with an involved flashback can also be done with a simple recollection and evaluation.

Write it then purposefully excise it in the review copy you send to your beta readers. If they think something seems missing then you should re-add the scene you wanted in the first place.

It's alright to keep the details of the sauce to yourself for now, you're asking a high level enough question that story details aren't super needed. I guess on the topic of the potential cut away being a different character putting the wheels of the conflict in motion, is it a character the reader is aware of already? It kinda sounds like you want to write a brief intermission to help set the stage from behind the curtain while time transitions. I dig that kinda thing. The key is in the early stages you treat it with a very light hand if that makes sense. Don't give away more than you need to at the moment, and keep in mind what you plan to reveal later on.
As for beta readers, you can take a gander at the list we got on the archive and email whoever you might be comfortable with giving your stuff a look over. They're all pretty swell and likely wouldn't turn you away, and your story will benefit greatly from another set of eyes on it.

For intermissions that introduce new characters, it helps to use a scene that gives the reader a little bit of knowledge about them, and it can be something unrelated to the thing you're going to foreshadow. If you write them doing a seemingly insignificant task, the way they carry themselves in performing it can help to paint that picture for a reader. If you are going for a conflict orchestrator kind of thing, they don't have to do anything more than show that they're putting their pieces onto the board and making their move. Like they just finished up prepping what they need to kick off their plan, or maybe even finalizing the details of the plan itself. Make the intermission more about the character itself than the plot points that come with them. Those will reveal themselves in time, make your reader intrigued over this mystery dude and the role they will come to play.
If it makes you feel better, emailing someone to take a look at your work only requires slightly more courage than posting your work for anyone to see. You're pretty much there, and like others have said, the readers on that list are there to help. The worst they can say is no, right? Right?!
