This stuff today has warmed my cold dead heart. Outside of a few loonies this is a great fanbase and Kiara is a total sweetheart. I love you guys and coming here on my time off and shitposting and having fun. There's definitely some complete dickheads on this board but most of you are cool and make my days a lot better.

This has probably been asked a million times, but which vtubers are the best and most realistic at GFE? I want this hole in my heart filled, I want it to feel as close to real as it can.

You ever slowly fall in love with someone? I remember watching Fauna's debut and thinking she wasn't my type, she's too gentle and motherly and uwu or whatever, I was more interested in Kronii by far. But over time I found myself listening to her more and more, eventually tuning in all the time. I started noticing her wit and banter and how she's actually got a great personality and is very self-aware. And her design grew on me too. And I thought goddammit maybe I need a mommy. Now I think I'm in love with her bros.

Vtubers are the luckiest people on the planet. You get to hide your face behind a cute avatar (that most of the time you didn't create) and rake in an obscene amount of money from lonely bastards. On top of this you get a ton of fanart and adoration, and if you get really lucky and join a big company you get an immediate boost of popularity even though no one has ever heard you before. And all you really have to do is play games and talk.

Even though I'm a fan of some of them there's a part of me that's filled with hatred for the medium as a whole. Most of these fuckers don't deserve this. Greedy sociopaths. But at the same time it's hard to totally blame the vtubers themselves, they're just taking advantage of a sick society.
