Do you feel overwhelmed by your backlog?
Don't get me wrong, if I'm not enjoying enjoying a game I don't force myself to stick with it. I've accepted that if my memory is already fuzzy even on games I love then there's no sense in absorbing every word of a game I'm not enjoying and I'll either skip through a route or outright drop a game. But I just get so overwhelmed by how many games are available to me that even when I'm enjoying something I'm always distracted by other games I'm eager to play and will frequently start something new. 'The grass is always greener' kind of situation. When most games are 20-40 hours long each it's hard to finish one instead of it getting buried under other games. Long ago when I could only dream of playing games untranslated, and when English releases were few and far between, I enthusiastically consumed what I could. But now I feel so spoiled for choice that I can't focus because I can't get to everything I want to play fast enough. Anyone else experience this or manage to overcome it?
