I always thought Shiki was the king. Remake version is just the same great guy but more fleshed out with more frequent and detailed interactions with the rest of the cast. He's always had a stellar outlook and philosophy he's built around.

The VA does an amazing job conveying the emotions of the character for real though. Whether it's just his light and sarcastic attitude with certain characters or the heavy and emotional scenes, it's just great. It was really impressive because Shiki is a character that goes through insanity inducing situations and displays a complete umbrella of emotions. The 'AKIHA!!!' scream lives in my mind. Totally inhuman. You really feel the heaviness and darkness of the story. And I always get shivers when the voice drops and you know Nanaya is near. That's when it's time to sit up straight. All in all I feel the same way as Arc does. I love his kindness and his danger. He's the scary and reliable character we come to love.
