Penny stocks are great if you know what you are doing and know what to look for in them. Their financials are usually easier to read. They do have wild swings though so they aren't for everyone.. but if you know what you're doing.. just keep grinding..

Case in point: VIBI - Was shilled by everyone as the next big thing. Sites were raving about it. Stock was cheap as shit @ 0.33 per. So I bought 1200 shares for nothing. Soon enough the stock rallied and kept rallying, 50c, 80c. Came close to selling it at 95c, but I held off. Thought "I'll sell when it hits 1 per even" The next day, wham, tanked down to 50c. Didn't think much about it then. Figured It'd recover. Next week, tanked down to 34c. Saw the writing on the wall and bailed. Week after that, stock hit 20c and stayed there. I coulda made $1200 profit but no the shit stock tanked before that happened. Least I walked away with most my investment intact.

Tell that to the people who purchased the SP500 in 2000. They'd have to wait until 2007 to break even, and even then they'd have the span of 3 months in 2007 to get out before another crash.

So then it's 2012 before you have the potential to break even again.

I remember when he got admitted to University of Pennsylvania, he was ecstatic. Soon we all graduated and went off to college — That’s when I found out he got brain cancer and couldn’t go to college. The GoFundMe page started, and the endless facebook posts of petty people who maybe spoke to him once in high school began flooding his facebook page with encouraging words. After a year of not being in touch I got word that he had fought through the brain cancer. I remember everyone was happy he had made it. Seeing pictures of him post-recovery was painful. His entire face was deformed and fucked up from the procedures. I felt horrible for him that his life had come to this but at least he had his life. I remember praying for him even though I don’t believe God answers prayers. My mom runs a local yoga studio and I remember she was giving him free classes to help him through rehabilitation. Everything was looking up. Not a month went by before the doctors told him that the tumor hadn’t been removed completely and that it was growing back. It grew back with a vengeance. Three times as aggressive as before, the tumor ripped him apart in a matter of weeks. He died at 19. A ginger, a manlet, and a virgin who always played it safe. Never having blossomed as a person his life was now gone.

You might be asking, why, on a random Tuesday in February did I take the time to type this out? Truth is that I typed it out if only to remember. Maybe I needed to tell this story to remind you all that no matter how badly you have been thrown to the ground, beaten, tortured, and betrayed.
