Question for my biz lads. I just moved to America and don't know much about investing. My coworker told me to put enough into my 401k to get my full employer match. Then to open a Roth IRA (said to go with fidelity or vanguard), and max that out. My question is, I don't know much about investing so I have just been putting my money into Target Retirement Index Funds. They have low fees and seem to be well balanced. Is this it? Once I have a big enough pot built I plan on playing with single stocks and options, but for now is this good enough to build some sort of wealth? I'm aware I can't take money out until retirement.
