After the sale of initial shares, they don't see a single fucking dime from any further transactions, not unless they release more stock(why would they do that?).
Whether or not investors lose money is actually completely irrelevant, because they don't hold a controlling stake in the company as their combined shares are a minority of the total.
I repeat, share price only matters when the company is selling them. When you buy and sell shares, it's from the pool of their shares which have been released for public sale at the price Cover chooses to sell them at, which is initially fixed but now fluctuates according to public demand. But Cover won't be affected at all by dropping share price unless they plan to dump
