I always liked the idea of "Forest Witch" Fauna. Something on the borderline between Eldrich and Supernatural. It's a shame that Fauna doesn't really lean into the "mommy" aspect or is possessive of her chat because I also really like the idea of a resentful/regressive Fauna wanting Man to Return to Nature.

It's not a huge stretch I agree with you but it would make it more believable to me. Fauna doesn't really quite have the chutzpah needed for that role imo. She's too much of a dweeb and unlike say, Ina or Shiori, doesn't have the benefit of an Outer God explaining the change. And not to throw shade at her, but her keeping chat at arms length dampers it as well. If she was a little more troublesome, i'd go a long way. Like imagine if it was Lamy or Korone as Fauna, or Rushia

I see where you're coming from, but if you want to incorporate the idea of the supernatural into some of these chuubas, some slight liberties will be taken to help them ease into the role a little more. Yes Fauna is a dweeb, but Fauna the keeper of nature would have a few key experiences or outlooks that you as the writer would mold into her that would allow her to be more possessive of what she feels is her domain, and how things should change to better suit her own vision. Using her relationship with saplings as a bar might also be a trap. Saplings are a strange and somewhat pitiable lot, so Fauna the chuuba keeping them at arm's length for her own sanity is the play she chose to make. She does have a fondness for animals though, which can actually play more well into the whole dynamic.

Hello writefags, had a short dream this morning that I didn't see the end of so I thought you guys may be able to finish it.

Charas are: me (anon), Gura (fmc), Ame was there, at least one more Holomem, and at least one more person that was female (probably another Holomem) and possible one more guy. Though everyone after Ame isn't really relevant, I was vaguely aware they existed.
Place is: I'm on vacation rn and was half awake when dreaming it so the scene takes place in a normal hotel room, though there are doors to the left and right of the room that lead to other guest rooms.
Story: I was lying in bed just chilling. Gura, who for some reason was in/entering my room, told Ame who was out of frame, in a voice loud enough that everyone (most importantly me) could hear, "I'm on my period so I'm sooo horny". After that she for some reason climbed onto my bed, over me, and lied down next to me. Dream me, feeling courageous, told her in a low voice "Want me to get you off?". After Gura expressed surprise (idr what she said), dream me says "Well you know what they say, a true pirate hunts for his shark even through the Red Sea" (or something like that, some sort of paraphrase to "a true pirate isn't afraid of the red sea"). Gura was into it, then I had a few brief moments where we were planning on a time for that to happen when everyone was asleep, before I realised I didn't know who "everyone" was and what rooms we had and the dream broke down.

I haven't watched Gura in years, she's not my EN oshi nevermind my kamioshi. The dialogue is so cringe and ooc as well, idk wtf is going on. Nevertheless, the dream made my heart (and dick) go dokidoki, so if an anon here can write something proper so that I can fap to it when I get back from the vacation, it's be very much appreciated.

The very same. I decided against an "Our Cures" style of story where Aqua is the main target. Instead, I incorporated the "Mastermind" Aqua idea and have Aqua approach you and keep piling on requests to keep you close. But I like the "recruiting an unwilling Aqua" idea. I don't think I'd make it episodic but I'd let me incorporate a dramatic beat that wouldn't have a place otherwise.

Sorta. The idea is that Aqua is in love with you, but has no idea how to approach so she uses the club as an excuse and to keep you on a leash. She thinks by "acting" ditzy and helpless, she will get you to fall in love with her. When it works, she has an existential crisis about her methods being "dirty" and your love being "incorrect" That would be the main drama if I went that direction.

If I went with the "Aqua as a member" idea, I would probably have one of her motivations to join come from doubts about Anon and Coco's relationship. Would someone do so much, for nothing in return, all to honor his senpai? Aqua wouldn't think so, and she may or may not be right.

It's been long enough since last rereading HF that I had actually forgot about the Arkid/Astel thing, so that was neat reminder/surprise. I hadn't forgotten about Pekora fucking reading HoloFantasy in jail so I'm glad that actually came back up and ended up being so relatively important. The inclusion of FWMC was fun and I'm now super excited to see what the other side of the coin is gonna be now that they're all over in HFLand. That ending in particularly was super engaging and had me worried for a minute that somehow THE DICE had resulted in something really bad happening. No matter how long it'll end up taking I'm sure what's next will be kino.
