I wanted to do v4mirai a while back after I was done with Prism but wanted to give them some time in case they get some fanart so they wouldn't be trained on just stream screenshots. /vtai/ seems to be the only /sdg/ that still prefers animagine to the pony derivatives, and that's probably just because of lora availability. Baseline Pony v6 is pretty weird to use but stuff like confetti4u is pretty decent and adaptable to different styles. I think a lot of people on /e/ have moved toward using pony derivatives like AnimeConfettiTuneXL, and /e/ is about as vanilla as it gets for 4chan.
As for backgrounds, it's not completely incapable of complex scenery, but I'll admit it's not the focus and I don't see a lot of anons generating crazy stuff. It has a strong bias toward simple backgrounds and you have to push for complex ones.

Has anyone played around with LayerDiffusion for transparent backgrounds? It works, but it doesn't automatically save the transparent version. It just saves the first version with fake transparency (the grey/white squares)

Also pony has a good depth of characters people are just incredibly lazy about checking them, I've had some characters work off of like just the name, some require more traits, some require a lot before it just "clicks". I see posts in the other AI threads about asking for character lora's of characters I can gen native in pony like Kisaki from BA, etc.

Getting closer but seems I have to retag her images to make sure I give her outfit a name otherwise it's pretty random and hard to control. Most of the time it grabs whatever color was used the most in the prompt and changes her outfit to that color. At least her face shape got closer to her actual face.
