I think this is the actual reason. There will probably be gacha and soulless merch with these looks in the near future and I assume that's the real reason. I mean they remind me of Genshin Impact now. I know fuck all about Genshin Impact except that everyone looks overdesigned and soulless and that it's a gacha moneysink. It's one of those things that filters me completely because it's an even worse skinner box than AAA games.

I don't know, it all just looks like it's dying in front of me or morphing into something unrecognizable which has nothing to do with why I started watching Gura and Myth in the first place. It's like someone took a look at Marvel or DC capeshit bullshit and said that Myth should be like that. The original comfy approachability and familiarity that their simple yet iconic designs had is completely gone and what I see now is just something generic and meaningless.

I'm not trying to start shit, I'm just mildly depressed over this. It just... eh, it bothers me but it bothers me in the worst way. It's making me feel indifferent to it all.

It would be amusing to everyone and even to myself, but it's real easy to figure out who I am among the members so... it would be awkward and then people would expect me to be all active and stuff in chat or entertain them all the time. Too much attention for nothing. At least clippers, fanartists and so on do something meaningful for the community. I'm just some random guy talking.

I'm fortunate nobody has gone off the deep end and discovered my previous 10+ year activity on another board and the depth of my previous notoriety and hate I garnered. It took a year or less, and it's as if I never existed at all. Let that be a lesson for you all. Be productive with your time and efforts, the internet is merely a diversion.
