Mio talks about her day trip to Kyoto which made her realize the best way for her to like traveling alone. Previously, she would feel really lonely especially when staying multiple nights. As her hotel room would often not be a single bed room, Mio would feel really lonely seeing the empty bed next to her when she's just laying in bed trying to watch TV. The Kyoto trip was a blessing because she didn't have to stay at a hotel or worry about the cats. She was able to book a shinkansen trip in the morning, arrive in Kyoto at noon, and then come back home before the day ended. Deciding on methods of travel was also easier and she didn't have to worry about going too slow or too quickly. Mio got a lot of goshuin from the shrines there. Mio recommends trying a day trip for places where you just walk around all day like Kyoto. Mio moves to talk about trying night buses as apparently you get a private space now. Night trains are also on the list but she'd like to get someone to travel with her. MikoSubaMio trip is planned but she can't say where or when they'll be going, please look forward to it either way. It's not a mystery tour either this time, as she often blurts out the secret. Mio thinks she sucks at lying, or at least consults others about things too much.

>Past travels
Mio recalls where else she went this year: Hokkaido with Okayu, Kusatsu, Kagoshima with MikoSuba, and Shikoku with Ayame and Fubuki. The AyaFubuMi trip had a few last minute changes as they weren't traveling alone, which forced them to make it a day trip. They had to board the plane at 6 AM, which gave Mio an idea for AyaFubuMi to stay at a hotel near the airport the day before just to be safe. And the day before that, when traveling to the hotel after dinner, they had an encounter with a gaijin taxi driver who didn't have the best Japanese and dropped them off in a really weird place. Plenty of experience from these trips; her trip to Kusatsu was actually the first time she's been there despite being from Gunma.

>Cake
She'll be making a christmas cake tomorrow. She bought a castella which is basically the same as sponge cake so that's what she'll be decorating tomorrow. She plans to make at least the fresh cream tomorrow and wonders if she can substitute the fridge cooling with just a cooler box. Chat says use the fridge and to listen to the instructions for western confectionery. Mio thinks she won't be able to eat the whole thing in one go, she's already planning to split it between a couple of days. She'd like to do her usual "here's the finished product" skit but getting a whole other cake would lead to many problems, she probably won't fit her idol outfit if she ate that much. Even one cake has too many calories? Too bad, she's already decided on eating it. Mio ends with her worrying if the local supermarket still has strawberries.
