I honestly found the opposite personally, pony is extremely rigid, which is not necessarily a bad thing since it makes it not as prone to anatomy issues. Illustrious can do incredibly weird and unique angles and uses foreshortening a lot (which does give it anatomy issues) and one prompt can give pretty varied results
