I miss the days of just buying a cheap, rewarding, and simple DSiware or eShop title on the 3DS and spending five to ten minutes playing it any time I was on the toilet or had time to kill, like with Boxlife. The only modern title I can think of that has that vibe is Part-time UFO for the Switch because the majority of games like them being made today are just shitty match-three clones or idle clickers/screen tappers. But emulators let me just go through thousands of games until I find one and sticking to it until I'm finished it without the horrors of being subjected to the same three minute long pajeet ads interrupting me testing a game every thirty seconds.
