Assuming neither party gets the jump on the other, who would win in a danmaku battle? They're both powerful stage 6 bosses with experience in leadership.

It would probably be long, but Byakuren would eventually edge out a win.

Byakuren would probably wipe the floor with Miko both in danmaku and in a brawl.

Byakuren's danmaku is just plain harder and prettier.

Miko had quite possibly the most disappointing danmaku for a 6th stage boss in all of touhou's history.

Byakuren can go super turbo strong with magic and has personally been seen doing it by the player.

Miko is a hermit and has a sword, but has not shown her capability as a hermit or her skill with her sword.

The wiki says that she was spreading Buddhism while secretly conducting Tao, which somehow took a toll on her health, so she sealed herself away so that she could somehow be immortal when she was resurrected? What?

I'd have to agree with you, Miko could very well see Byakuren's future and know what she's planning on doing next, but it's down to the fact that Byakuren can theoretically boost herself and overpower Miko with sheer force that Miko's cunning couldn't make up for.

Also Mausoleum is like the opposite of intense compared to other final cards.

Excuse me, but there would be no clear standard winner, nor would there be in any other conflict.

Because danmaku is made so that both characters can fight on even footing, eg: Cirno could beat Yama.

We also cannot figure out who would win in a non-danmaku battle because we don't know their abilities outside of spellcards, or how would they fare.

We have no idea about real state of touhou powerlevels outside of few characters.
