Can someone tell me why /jp/ and /prog/ overlap so much?

It doesn't make sense at all.

>> No.605502

>>605450
I don't know, and I find it quite funny myself. It seems quite a few of the people who moved from /a/ to /jp/ happen to be programmers, for some reason. Perhaps learning japanese is correlated with learning a programming language, since both require not being a lazy ANIME EXPERT in his mom's basement.

The Japanese language is almost similar to a programming language. Learning both languages is a similar experience.

>The Japanese language is almost similar to a programming language. Learning both languages is a similar experience...torturous and virginizing. Also, whatever you try to do will come out broken in at least three different places.
