you start by acknowledging that humans who resort to throwing away reason deserve the same basic level of acknowledgement as any other human. It's why we don't just shoot people if we find them guilty of something, and why we try people in courts in a just process
it's also why the retarded people who spam hololive chats deserve some basic acknowledgement of being fellow humans too, even if they don't behave or see themselves as such

I understand people allowing children to make mistakes and being liberal, but there should be a line where you should step in and stop. There's a goddamned reason why 4chan isn't for non-adults
of course if a barely 18 year old comes in here and wastes his life away that's his problem, he should take responsibility for the shit he's getting into. But kids? If anyone's a kid and proclaims to be so on 4chan their IP should get banned and accessing the site from their IP should lead to an announcement saying that a minor's been here, so that full disclosure keeps parents from being completely unaware about the shit their kids are doing

it's just occurred to me that there is a negative feedback loop that happens with people who come to 4chan
you get shit on or read through shitposts shitting on random things, and this negatively reinforces your habit of coming here to continue getting shit on and reading through shitposts shitting on random things
it's almost like a sort of drug for masochists, like women who keep going back to men who abuse them because they think they can fix them, or like that kid in school who just can't turn away from the school bully in spite of being hit all the time
pretty funny stuff, and the people who refuse to examine and reason out this mechanism are pretty much masochistic tsunderes and/or retards.
