They weren't buying shares and doing interviews because they were able to liquidate the company. They already had a gameplan in mind and the recapitalizing ourselves at the expense of the shorts is actually a comically-easy thing to do given the dangerous leveraged nature of naked shorting. Even Cede&Sneed showed accounting of $30M+ shares that shouldn't exist.
To put it plainly. $5BN company is no small market cap to just throw in the trash when you basically have all of the evidence you need that your shareholder equity was being attacked and counterfeited and restricted your access to the capital markets to raise money.
This bear trap did exactly that. Every last little step was followed to show they tried to secure financing and the price was crushed. Even Hudson Bay willingly lowered the price they could exercise their warrants and the price was attacked AGAIN and taken even below $1.
So you basically have everything you need to turn this company around because it's already been proven that the company was viable and able to survive a turnaround if they weren't counterfeited. The fraud lawsuit will recapitalize the coffers of the estate.
It's anyones guess what could be happening behind the scenes. Will RC tender an offer? Will there be a credit bid or will our shares be returned?
It's all speculation.
But what we know with 100% certainty is that something much bigger is going on behind the scenes and you I and all of us are going to wagmi.
