Some good advice I heard a long time ago was that you should never invest in auto makers and airlines (maybe group cruise lines in), because historically they have been terrible investments pretty much if you bought at any point in time. We have a long ways to go yet. The government hasn't even put forth a solid plan. Boomers left and right still think we're at a good spot to buy in but they can't prove it at all, just foundationless assumptions. Companies are STILL bleeding cash up the wazoo, loads of companies are asking for bailouts, they removed reserve requirements for banks, I mean the list goes on. This is NOT a good time to buy back in guys. All most of you do on here is make assumptions and think you're smart because you got lucky a few times. Most of you don't ACTUALLY know what you're talking about. So what if there's a stimulus. It doesn't mean jobs are coming back. It doesn't mean companies won't lean out multiple times over just to make up for losses, it doesn't mean companies won't close down entirely due to being so levered up. Valuations have been overinflated for so long now and the market going up right now is NO indicator of future outlook. You don't just look at a chart and go "uhh well it go up so that must be it". You Have to find out the why, the how, the when, and the what. China STILL isn't in full swing. Borders have been all but shut down, companies are bleeding cash due to ports doing similar, products aren't being produced, this is just the beginning. I told you before and I'll tell you again. America is underreacting to the case. The stimulus should have been pushed out WEEKS ago, companies will be bailed out on the tax payers dollar, and will taxes go down? Haha no way dude. Your country is screwing you and you honestly think the market has higher to go.
