To be clear we used to have an anon that tracked and compiled twitch numbers regularly, he lost interest after the korean vtubers were kicked off and no one picked it up.
The biggest issue is when you're comparing data from different platforms that overtly and clearly collect and calculate that data differently.
If you have two streams that read 1k viewers on each platform and one counts people as viewers that the other platform simply doesn't, then those streams aren't equal. There's no clear way to show that.
