I lowkey suspect that the reason why we've seen so many graduations this year is a lot of Holo contracts came up for renewal and due to the COVID-era VTuber boom being pretty much over now, the economy getting worse and the number of alternatives to Hololive drastically increasing (especially the indie scene becoming much bigger and more lucrative) since the initial sign-on the renewal offers and new contract terms were probably not very competitive overall compared to what the talents could be getting as indies, hence most of the reasons given being some version of "disagreements with management"
