most of them can do that but i try not to take them out too much. i think they prefer to hide and chill most of the time. if i do hold them i usually tuck my shirt in and they go to sleep in my shirt with the body heat

Snails are super cool! i love all molluscs/insects/arachnids etc. ive always wanted to get a giant african land snail but i never see them for sale. i always try to move the snails and slugs off of the sidewalk to they dont get stepped on lol. they are pretty fun to watch eat too. is yours just one you found outside?
