That's why they exist today and the likes of Corel, Novell and other players in the same markets disappeared.

That aside, it's amazing how much larger and flexible the audience for vtubers is in Japan compared to say, NA. Fuwa and Mio pulling 30k doing novelty morning streams and Lamy's morning stream numbers aren't bad either. Meanwhile Kiara technically streams in NA morning times and it's brutal. Gartic Phone which hasn't really been a buff game pulled 9k even while the ShiranuiKen GTA collab was still going on and peaked at 12.5k in the last round where she pulled in fanartists.
Her first Papers Please months after it has passed Fotm peaked at 7.5k and 2/3 of her last Mario Kart streams were 8k+ as well, with one outliar 4 months that I don't remember enough to explain.
It's just that for one reason or another minecraft isn't a buff game for Kiara, whether it's her audience not liking it, the algorithm not recommending it to literal children anymore because it usually has a lengthy SC reading portion and they just click out at that or any other reason.

That's like almost 80k people just watching HoloJP and there's like another 80k watching Nijis. It makes sense since there's only 6 of them including Irys. HoloJP have built a community around themselves. Pooling each unique viewer watching them to the crowd that would watch another JP Holo. There was an anon that highlighted that there is a 50% that if a Twitter Follower is following one Holo that they are following the rest of the Holos as opposed to Nijis 30%. There is solidarity. You see this happening most especially in JP Events. HoloEN has to debut more talents to attract more unique viewers and thus expanding their audience. Irys is a good addition personally since she is by far as proven by her numbers. She was hitting 8.5k last night with a kusoge even when Gen3 was hogging the live views for the most part. People have been saying that it's the schedule shift that is hurting Gura. We will have to wait and see during this current stream if she goes back up to 20k. I honestly think she should stop playing platformers like Ame. It's lazy content for them and they are both bad at it. The only reason you should play a platform game is if you get good and finish the game (Ina, Kanata), already good at it (Fubuki) or make it incredibly funny(Korone). The only reason they choose these games is because they want something "easy" to pad up their stream schedule. Gura said this exact reason on her stream btw.

Gura hasn't passed 50k in a game stream since the Dec viewercount change. Whether it's honeymoon phase ending or many people not being counted as "spam viewers", we'll never know. Seeing as her VOD views have been relatively similar too, it might just be that people stopped watching live and decided to catch VODs instead. However, I think it's better to compare her live viewer numbers now to her Jan 2021 numbers since that's most likely where her core audience is now.

>>7554687
Well her game today is likely going to be a flop. Same devs as A Hat in Time and that game was a numbers killer for all of HoloEN. Gura seems to struggle to find a base game to play when she's not doing FoTM since she doesn't like solo minecraft. It could've been DBD but not sure why she stopped playing it. It's pretty obvious now tho that retro and platform games do not do well with the EN audience.

>>7554704
It's a bit unfair to compare Kiara and Irys's Plug and Play numbers. Kiara played it alone in Ina's timeslot (1pm PST/4pm EST) which is a decent time for EN as Ina has shown to pull 10k+ often in it. Irys overlapped with NoeFure and Pekora at 6am PST/9am EST on a weekday. She was streaming moreso to japs than burgers with that timeslot. Even Calli knows to stream 1-2 hours later if she wants an EN audience.

None of you retards watch NijiENs stop talking about their qualities.

If you want actual qualities, Elira is the only endurance streamer vtuber and the best singer out of the EN branches in both companies.

Pomu's hardcore wotagei cred and creative streams have already given her a ton of viral success moments (God Knows, Akiba, Da Pomky), even her livetweeting about the Bobon-Mouse collab yesterday got Bobon massive traction and one of his biggest streams. Her own numbers have gone from around 1k to easily 3k+ ccv these days.

Those two are definitely their best gets scouting wise along with Selen.

Finana has the skill of having no filter which is why she gets the most watched clips of the group and that is an important quality for algorithmic success.

Rosemi is the most typical of EN vtubers but she's trying to cater as much as possible, and Petra doesn't have much going for her besides being cute, so I'd somewhat agree for those two.

Also why is Kiara knowing JP a standout talent when all of NijiEN is multilingual and Petra, Elira, and Rosemi speak JP as well as her?

Ignoring the tribalfags here, this is Elira and Kiara's streaming times since July 18th. A couple of things to note here is that Elira had to take a 5 day forced break due to ISP troubles and the numbers for the Gmod collab and the No Archive Karaoke are based off Playboard tracking data so are likely a bit less than the true stream time. Also doesn't include her current Omori stream.

NTA, but that's a strange way to format this table. You can literally just insert time formatted numerical entries into one cell each and even convert them to their next logical time format using proper table formatting. This is just confusing without labeling.

That said, it is interesting to know that Elira somehow streamed a smilar amount of time compared to Kiara in spite of her having less streams overall.

5pm PST is 100% Gura's best timeslot as she's built her audience across NA.
>>7553925
Definitely indicates that her audience has moved, at least in part, to watching VODs/highlights instead of trying to catch every stream live (accounting for drops in CCV due to the Dec. Fuckery).
I'm pretty sure tomorrow's Crazy Taxi stream is gonna break 20k+ ccv without an issue.
