Lia's problem with female viewership is that her interests are things that appeal to Zoomer/Late Millennial women and that demographic primarily uses Tiktok. If they stumble upon a Lia stream that is topical to a Tiktok trend, it probably will not be for them because those are mostly primers for things those women are already interested in which are intended for an uninitiated audience. Youtube's female audience is mainly older and generally do not watch streamers in general, let alone vtubers. If she doesn't want to change her platform of choice, I would say her best choice is to try to appeal to the female audience that actually uses Youtube.

What does Youtube's core female audience like? This is incomplete, but as far as I can tell:

>Men
>Cute animal videos
>True Crime
>Drama videos
>Lifestyle videos

Most of these are problems because of unavailability (Men, professional music), dox risk (make up tutorials, lifestyle videos), or rules imposed by Phase-Connect (drama). I think True Crime is the most Liacore option, but I think she has a clash of sensibilities with older women on that topic. While Lia's position as to being revolted by the "serial killer fan club" type of people is a completely reasonable take, a lot of the True Crime audience is unironically like that. They like imagining the Night Stalker as a handsome hunk who was going to ravage them and not as the creepy, smelly, greasy creep he actually was. Aside from that portion of the audience, women who find themselves agreeing with Lia on that point will likely in turn be put off by her quirky sense of humor as it involves cannibalism and incest, which would seem to them as freakish as any Manson groupie.

I don't know how you thread that needle, but that's probably the best way of getting women viewership. There's also trying to snatch up Tiktok refugees, but getting them is a waiting game if the law actually goes into effect and is successfully enforced against Tiktok and there's a risk that they'd flee to some other, similar platform over Boomertube.

I think I might have an idea why so many of the girls at once are growing their female audiences. This will involve a little bit of fanfic writing so bear with me. A few weeks ago Shiina and Tenma wanted to get a sponsorship for a specific company but management told them that they needs to grow her female percentage in order for them to even consider contacting that sponsor.
Sell both of them did a handful of streams to attract girls and it worked, their percentages went up.
Now this is where my fanfic writing comes in. The other girls most likely saw this and thought holy shit we can grow a female audiences without completely changing everything about our content and sell a bunch of ideas started rolling in their heads to see what they could do to increase that number and the opportunities that it might bring.
Now my personal opinion, I don't think we should worry too much about her trying to increase her female leadership. She said she knows what content she could do to grow it but she knows she doesn't want 100% enjoy those topics and knows it could run the risk of completely pushing out her current audience and I personally believe she will tread carefully on growing her female numbers without completely pushing us away. All in all I think some good can come out of this, hell, we could even see some Lia cosplayers one day!
