It seems like it tries to be like Persona but I think it's too close to the character.
The classic RPG combat style is best suited looking from afar. Either from the side (FF or SaGa style) or from the back (DQ or Phantasy Star style)

Constantine knows Pretzelheart well before the reset.
She got factory-reset after singing a forbidden melody or something
She recites her introduction in front of him after the reset in her diva body and AGAIN in her trashcan body. Neither Pretzelheart, nor Constantine react to each other at all.
Maybe he's faking it and is adding her to the team to keep an eye on her but she should react to the guy she met earlier when her memory got wiped up.
Also for some reason she discards her Diva body for a trashcan (the wolf guy probably recovers it) and met a random stranger that's wailing about the door to some building being locked.
