What I learned through merging:
- It's possible to merge pony with any model
- It's possible to add styles and chuuba knowledge this way to pony
- It requires it to be skewed towards the model with the knowledge so some pony knowledge will probably be gone without block merging or other methods
- The CLIP merging has to be very low ~0.05 ratio of pony otherwise the chuuba knowledge is going away quick (aka Pony text encoder is weighted too strong)
- Animagine loras will not work even if animagine is in the mix(tested with 0.25 animagine)
- Base trained loras work so we were probably idiots for splitting training
- Something must be done about the limbs and limb anatomy as the mix I tried makes some weird stuff sometimes
- I do not know how to properly prompt on pony other than the scores and the sources

I would rather get my premixed HLL+Base model, and then add stuff to that, rather than go through all of the process to do the deep model merging with image grading and the like, just to try and use the lyco and have it look like garbage. Merge the lyco with base nai and that's the Hll model. When training a lycoris/lora that's what the script does. It extracts the difference between the hll checkpoint and base nai as a lyco so it can be plugged into anything. If you merge it back into nai you get the hll model.

No it's just setting on the extension. It generates the with lower lighting once you do the proper setting. I am still testing but here are some (you may need to play with the brightness values, the less it is more dark it is and vice versa)

Good luck. It initially doesn't work as that utils.py script is missing from the /lycoris folder. Not sure whether kohaku merged it into something else or moved it but he forgot to change the imports in merge.py to make up for it. Downloading the old version of utils.py and placing it where it should be, fixes the problem.

Yes, it still does that but it doesn't merge them as it did on 1.6, now it replaces it with the newly loaded model.
Mainly, on 1.6 it kept a remnant of the previously loaded model and just merged a new one on top of it instead of just loading the second model by applying the difference. If the UI was not restarted it was pretty much creating unique merges every time models were changed.
Sucks because I got an accidental merge at one point that I really liked and didn't want to restart my UI to not lose it.

not sure if its an SDXL thing or a pony thing, but the way it interprets garbage inputs is very strange. its not like it gets ignored if you type scrambled shit.
doesn't seem too unlikely to me that popular artists and popular characters have a massive footprint in latent space and you are somewhat likely to just randomly hit them. would also explain why there is sometimes like 20 hits close to each other that look like pretty much the same style.
