and on the topic of Elona's learning curve once you kinda get used to the daunting controls it's not so bad, though I had a little window with the list of controls in case i needed to consult them. the game doesn't explain things very well so i've had to look them up on the wiki, but so far i've settled into a comfortable gameplay loop

what i'm pretty hyped for is Elin, which is made by the same dude who worked on Elona and has more of a 2.5d isometric perspective; it's supposed to be set 30 years before Elona and due for a release on Steam soon

Finally came up with a concept I'm interested in writing.
I like the implication that everything Shiori sees, she archives, and cannot forget. I think I want to tackle a case of her going about her day, and finding herself lapsed into memories, either randomly or in response to certain stimuli. Most of what I write is psychological horror, so I think I can flesh this out pretty well.
Thoughts? I'm mostly posting about this since it's too late to start, but I'm gonna keep browsing for another hour or so.

For the record, I think that she probably is still doing more than she can handle in the long run. Many things she does for us take a load of time. There are asset comissions she needs to track of, there are prompt replies, there are tags (reminder that she needs to carefully read every wall of text before giving it a like in order to avoid yabs), there are schedules (she moonlights as Advent's manager), there are creative streams almost every week. That is all on top of streaming at least 5 days a week. Please appreciate it.
