It's normal business practice to offer refunds for reschedules because the new date might not work for everyone that paid for tickets. Imagine a scenario where you knew you had free time to watch an event so you bought tickets. Then they rescheduled it to the day of your nephew's birthday party. Now you can't watch what you paid for. That creates resentment, and you don't want your customers resenting you. Because then they stop being customers.
