Just as a refresher, for this system you set an order for X coins at price Y and you get your placement in the queue based on how much of the new currency, earned by oshifagging, you spend and when you placed your order. Option 1 means when the broker hits your spot on the queue it sees if it can execute your order at your desired limit, and, if it can, it does it all at once. Option 2 goes round robin through the queue, executing the orders one coin at a time. You pay a fee based on a percentage of the value of your order, with a baseline for 1 coin and an increasing % as you reach the coin limit. The limit is estimated at the time of your order based on the amount of coins in circulation at that time but this is checked v.s. the circulation at the time of broker processing so that it's fair for everyone. You also pay a deposit, which includes the coin prices and an estimated fee at the time of the placement of the order. The minimum deposit is the fee required for transacting X coins at market price at the time of the placement of the order. Any remainder from the deposit is refunded and any additional charges are charged to your wallet. (Note for sells you also deposit the coins, if you aren't allowed to sell as many as you wanted, those are refunded to you). Feedback on the systems proposed is also appreciated.

I mean, scheduled orders have the advantage that they happen right at adjustment and happen instantly. They also allow you to place limits. The fees are also still very much open to debate. It'd be a balancing trick during the day of trying to figure out the price and amount of coins that you can buy/sell at a profit and placing the orders before the cutoff time. Then, around adjustment you would react to the adjustment and scheduled orders processing which would be when you'd use the autotrader. At least that's the way I envision it.

I think most people would schedule 2 or 3 sells at most for adjustment and just put the rest on automatic trading. In a sense this does help combat inflation since you're eating up some of the money through fees but then it just feels like a thing where everyone will just schedule a couple sells and that's it.
DESU I think the reason most people wanted scheduled orders was because they weren't able to be there during adjustments. Honestly what I imagined for the scheduled buy/sell would just be a scheduled autotrader. Just make it so you can't schedule it right on adjustment time so people who are clicking have the advantage, so the earliest your buy order can be is 9:10am. If the fees are too steep on the scheduled buy/sell orders it won't really serve the purpose I imagined it to serve in the first place aka if I predict Rushia will dip hard tomorrow but I have a work meeting at that time so I want to schedule 20 buys and just have it autobuy for me every 10 min.

Option 1 is the actual bulk buy, the higher you are in the queue the cheaper it will be, ASSUMING everyone buys, so it would be possible to queue a bulk buy on a coin who just pumped, spend 0-1 $OSHI and enjoy your cheap-again coin after 30-40 bulk sales
Option 2 would work in rapid cycles but you have no exit, once you are commited you are in it within your limits, position in queue doesn't matter as much as long as you're conservative with your limits.

basically, you want to go in so big into a coin you're prepared to pay double. recent examples where that would actually be the best play are sparse, BUT you would also gimp other players out of the coin much faster.

I'd suggest 25% max fee for a testing period, or progressively going down from 100 over the weeks until we get something like 5-10% of players placing their orders regularily.

That said, strongly in favor of option 1

You are absolutely correct in that we're essentially deciding the value of $OSHI, we want this new currency to be rewarding so you actually have incentives to earn it and spend it. In option 2, position in the queue still matters, just less because while you'd get better prices than everyone else for as long as they're still in the game, once they're out of the game you're left basically as the only one buying/selling meaning you're getting the worst prices, within your limits of course.

Well there will be carnage and post-carnage game now, it will take out the prediction-only factor of adjustment (most people and "people" are trained way too well to expect those anyways) and actually also factor in the market, so it's not like every adjustment things are already settled.
Re-visiting the timing, if we get sub 5 minutes until this runs through we can at least get a nice graph showing what should've been post-adjustment price and what IS post-carnage price.
