It's just so weird to me. I know there's years of difference between the two situations, but when HolostarsJP got their start, I don't think they had any support from the girls. ID 1 debuted pretty much in part with Trinero so they're very close with them, however, they're very professional and rarely beg or appear on stream out of nowhere.
ID 2 was more chill, because of the first gen they can't really ignore them, but aside from Ollie, Anya and Reine appear to be more into the Hololive girls. And, speaking of Ollie, he was really annoying when she debuted and used to be a prime beggar, but she appears to be more mature now; yeah, she talks to them and likes to be seen as the Holostars fangirl, but she also knows how to control herself on collabs and also knows how to correct some annoying fans (for example telling people not to make sexual comments on Oga's 3D debut).
ID 3 is the one that has the most red flags in my opinion, they debuted practically at the same time as Uproar, but they never interacted with them or showed any interest before tempus debuted. There was an actual collab ban (and not the just debuted type of ban) between the branches until sometime on December 1st 2019 with the unification of everyone as Hololive Production, and the first FxM collab was a Pokemon tournament later that same month, so Holostars was by themselves until then since June of the same year. And even after the ban was lifted and we got ID 1, the collab suspects were recurring and not annoying. It currently seems like an issue brought by the same handful of girls in EN and the subsequent ID gens, but it wasn't like this before and it's frustrating.

The only reason that one Valorant collab happened was because K0bo begged Astel to invite Izuru one day in an unarchived Valorant stream (not really begging but she was acting coy around the topic), and Astel probably wanted to be nice so he did it once, but they're close friends and he's aware of Izuru not being very good with outsiders, so I strongly doubt he would push him to do it again. Basically, don't expect Izuru to accept a collab with someone he doesn't know unless Astel acts as an intermediator or he has a reason to (like the TCB family and Shin's initiative.)
