It’s apparently a very western standard for the lyrics to sit on top of the vocals, so I wouldn’t expect songs by non-western mixers to do it as much. MV was good, but the awkward static Mori floating with random cars makes absolutely no sense for the hook of the song. It's supposed to be the part that hypes you up. It feels really out of place along with the gas station parts

Just watched the mv a couple times. Overall I liked it. Only things I would have changed is have more of a dance breakdown for the first drop instead of just sitting on a gas pump and Mori should have actually blown some things up or at least set fire to something. The song is amazing, I love it.

Well for starters I meant artists that she genuinely liked and respected, which is why I used BV as an example.
