Capturing is very taxing on your CPU and so is VR (at least in my experience) so offloading it to another second PC will make the viewers experience way better with increased frame rates.

I think it wouldn't have ever been used, even if they were ready by the time 3rd fes came around. It's a good decision really. The coat by itself looks strange by itself, but considering she's moving around the stage and doing a little dance, it would look a little jarring with a cape and 4 belts swinging around every time she moves.
