I think I misunderstood you then, because you seem to be using numberfagging as "following what's popular/trendy" while I was thinking of it as just caring about how her numbers are doing.
But true, Polka doesn't seem to chase what's popular, she just does her own thing and only dropping it if it tanks hard, otherwise she continues doing it.
Which is refreshing to see, but a bit sad in other terms. Her Needy Streamer Overdose streams would've been interesting to see, but a bit too much after almost every single other holo/indie playing it. Instead we got bombarded with ARK streams.

I mean it's on me too, mainly because numberfagging here has a different connotation of just caring about what gets numbers, which is normally following what's popular and the rare exceptions (see >>>/vt/numbers/. Or don't, actually).
Also, even if she just resorts to her comfort-streams (such as playing ARK or Minecraft) she at least always tries to innovate in them (see for example her ARKsmr or her ARK stream that you have to imagine what is actually going on)

I mostly miss the slightly experimental kind of Polka, where she either tries a game that nobody streamed before or some similar cool stream ideas. I think she decided to change this a long time ago to include this weirder part of Polka to include it on her PolDen series.

I'm using chormium browser like Edge or google chrome. Plus addblocker plugin, not sure if it matters. I assume it works on other PC OS as well. Phone app probably not. Click the play recording option from the tweet and a side window inside of the browser should pop up like chat in a stream. Auto translation of her voice in JP should show up in text at the bottom of the window as she talks.

Each of the girls and Holostars gets to represent the front page in a particular prefecture in regional editions of the Asahi Shinbun. Some picks are perfectly on point, such as Luna getting Osaka. Pretty much. She's had the Idol dream for most of her life, and unfortunately she's been through the ringer a time or two pursuing it. Still, aside from some self-worth issues that crop up from time to time, she's managed to push through it with a fairly positive outlook on life, and as Polka she's found a place where she can largely do what she wants and be happy doing it.

Regardless of what she does in her personal life, so long as she's happy and healthy, I'm happy for her.
