Mori is right for putting people in their place for assuming they can own and control her and who she hangs out with. You don't own the streamer, they can do what they want. The streamer doesn't own you either, and you don't have to watch them if you don't like their content.
Have you ever got pissed off because a vocal minority tried to censor something you liked, such as an SJW ranting about something 'problematic' in a video game? Realize when you try to tell a Vtuber what they can and can't do, you are exactly like an SJW trying to censor the Vtuber. Realize when you try to tell Vtubers they can't associate with certain people, you are no different from a woke mob cancelling someone.
Mori is right to tell the people who want to censor and limit Hololive's talents that their input isn't needed or appreciated. And she said it more politely than she needed to.

Being a vtuber is different from being an average streamer and explicitly places idol obligations on you. It's why vtubing exists. It's an integral part of it. If you can't adhere to these standards simply don't be a vtuber.

Mori acts like the typical Western women. She demands the attention and loyalty from her audience while she does whatever she wants to, and that's just not gonna fly. This isn't Netflix, Hollywood or e-celeb bullshit. We have standards. The industry has standards.
