Who the fuck cares about a couple percent here or there? Get the fuck out now before the real crash starts and everything crashes 90%. Everything as in crypto, housing and stocks will take like a 40% hit. But obviously since crypto is hit harder, it's much more worthwhile to buy during the dip than traditional assets, as everything is going to recover rather quickly.

>central banks hedging against USD reserves with alternative assets all of 2019
>surge in interest in BTC from huge institutions all year while perception among normies is still skeptical
>thinks crypto will be hit harder than stocks that are inherently tied to fiat and liabilities
>not thinking all the smart money in crypto will start to move once traditional markets underperform
>not thinking normies will freak out and FOMO once this happens

Market is too young to make the call that crypto only performs well when the economy is good, it was founded at the tail end of the recession

Now imagine that crypto explodes during a recession. The scenario almost no one thinks will happen because of a strong demand for dollars to cushion the crisis. But, what if that strong deflationary pressure is offset by the Treasury running the money printers hot? These things are unpredictable and if you think you know the answer there’s 10,000 ways reality will play out in unexpected ways

I'm not bullish long term, but if we go to 12-14k before the dump this is the chanche.

Ichimoku green cloud breached upwards.. moving averages..last close + monday soon.. whale alert deposits.. all seem to be signaling a buy.

If there is one thing we do know is that they will be running the fiat printers like mad.

I don't think I'll sink my freethrow from half court, I'm just providing my most optimistic reasoning for my long position. I'm more or less borderline retarded. Wouldn't there be even greater demand for an asset that is guaranteed to be deflationary in the scenario you described? I just think calling for a 90%+ flash crash in every single market is asinine

>>15102594
Yeah, which can not be healthy for the dollar in the long run, right?

it means there will be increased demand for scarce assets in any form. we will likely see a meltup in all asset markets, in the weimar republic companies became insanely valuable as they controlled the means of production while currency became worthless. people would literally throw their currency at any physical good, food, gold, etc because it was losing value by the second. this was all before calculators, cell phones, internet, and tv existed

It all depends on tether whales who pump the price vs the banking whales who manage the price like they manage gold and silver. Who knows what the fuck is gonna happen besides them
