I really hope it goes back down so I can keep stacking cheaply but we're probably in a bull market so it won't.

I'm expecting upward pressure due to easy monetary policy. The ECB will pick up soon again, the IMF demands -10% interest rates, the Fed will also lower interest rates, there's a consensus on a coming recession with corresponding uncertainty, central banks buying a lot etc. etc.

But note that measures are already being taken to restrict anonymous gold purchases in Europe. Further restrictions may be introduced in concert with central bank policies. At some point it could get banned entirely again. But there's a certain window in the next 1-2 years in which it can do very well.

Propping up stock prices is arguably the new mandate of central banks. They may just start buying them directly, which isn't a new idea and would probably be met with little resistance even though it will accelerate the introduction of a new feudal system.

these are the types of braindead zoomers who will be selling their entire networth to me for a single ounce of silver
Imagine thinking this global generational debt based fiat ponzi scheme is sustainable
Imagine thinking your thin air crypto ponzi coins will moon in a fiat collapse
Imagine not hedging 10-20% of your net worth in rare earth metals

the debt based fiat is not sustainable
I don't know which coins you're talking about, but bitcoin is digital gold and it was made by a gold bug anti government cypherpunk (Szabo)
you should probably hedge all your net worth in btc and rare metals
at least the money you're not moving, all of it should be in assets which are not controlled by any gov.

I only saw a recent update for Germany, limiting anonymous purchases to 2000eur per day starting in 2020 - down from the previous limit of 10,000.

I assume you'll find similar things in other countries. Maybe a bit further down as the new ECB QE measures are introduced. General cash purchase limits have been lowered across the EU in recent years, though they are still largely implemented in different ways at the nation level.
