Fax machines are USEFUL. Digital file transfers are vunerable to being intercepted by hackers, and when you transfer sensitive data like contracts or personal information, it is far better to send it over Fax.
And don't forget, you can send your signature over Fax without worrying about legalities. Electronic Signatures are still fuzzy and fucky in terms of how much they count compared to a real signature, but if you sign a document physically and send it over Fax, it's perfectly legitimate.
Don't fucking pretend like Fax machines are irrelevant. Fax machines are IMPORTANT, and still have a place in the world. I won't tolerate that kind of slander over such a worthwhile machine, even if it's just as an anecdote in a larger argument.
