Being a NEET isn't so much depressing as it gives you a lot more free time to think about the state of society and how deluded most wagies are. The realization you can't help them is pretty sad. Then there's their obsession with "productivity" and "hard work" aka suffering that will drag you down with them as they shame any sort of UBI or social programs to help people free themselves from wagie life. There's literally billions of people that spend 1/3 of their life sleeping and the other 2/3 of their life working or raising children, how is that even living?

It probably says a lot that all the OL vtubers like Pomu and Terumi and even Marine when she talks about her OL past attract so many saviorfags that can't tolerate the reality of what being a wageslave is like when it's attached to an endearing anime girl.

The comparisons don't really work besides Ryuguards/Chumbuds. Pomudachis and FamElira both have plenty of goslings and comfyposters. I'm a tako myself and gosling hard for Pomu in a way I didn't think possible for any other vtuber I've watched, but Elira pulls off the comfy chill streamer vibes a lot better. Pomu's cursed nature reminds me a bit of how KFP built a parasocial relationship with their girl due to wanting to support her through all the fuckups, but Pomu has an extremely sweet personality underneath that Kiara fails at.

Her charm isn't immediately obvious based on visuals or her character. You have to commit to watching her for a whole stream to understand her boomer cuteness and there just aren't that many of us weeb boomers left to begin with that would appreciate her. On the positive side we're extremely loyal to our fairy onahole wife due to how rare girls like her are out in the wild.
She's by far my favorite and I'm suffering withdrawals without her streams.

Maybe shit like >>3794927 but honestly that's not even an outlier. It's not bad enough that Goslings spend all day fantasizing about their waifu in all the various Gosling generals like /wah/ and /ame/ but they encourage this sort of schizo behavior from eachother. I'm not even shitting on Goslings though, I am one for Pomu but it's undeniable that many of them are mentally ill due to lack of intimate human contact for years or decades.

You can say I'm just projecting or cherrypicking or exaggerating but I'm just concerned about how effective this GFE thing is at milking money from people who are already downtrodden and desperate, like televangelists and MLM's.

I even have one friend who got into Kiara from a video I linked him, and I regret it because he's dumped hundreds of dollars on her just to hear her say his name and send me clips of it. It's so fucking sad to watch someone get so emotionally invested in a female who doesn't even know he exists. Maybe not all Goslings are like this but it makes me feel gross to see the amount of repeat-names in superchat streams where people try to have a conversation with the vtuber through superchats and act like they're friends even though she doesn't give a shit about them. Oftentimes they don't even read the message, it's so fucking sad.
