And Pippa pounced on that INSTANTLY, she made a tweet and stream playing Hogwarts about "fuck twitter, fuck the trannies, justice for Pikamee" and it blew up, becoming her biggest stream ever at that point. She later walk back some of it but she had already gotten fame from it. And from then on she has kept a 3k+ viewership doing mostly non-vtuber content like police-cams, drama streams, traffic accident reactions and similar things.

Also the CCV median you see at the end of every month is really inflated. If you only look at the charts she almost seems like she can catch up to Bae/Kiara/Mori in CCV, but that is only because she basically only streams buffstreams on youtube, the debuffstreams are all on Twitch so they dont show up in the tally. Like in december she had 5 streams way below 2k.. but they were all on twitch.
So if you compare her to Bae or Selen or whoever, you should check what their medians is when you ONLY look at their 5-10 top CCV streams.

Having said all that and shat on her a lot, even if this perfect storm of grift and opportunity had happened to another faceless 2view Hololive clone, it wouldnt have worked as well as for Pippa because she is genuinely different than the massive majority of vtubers and that is why she keeps most of the new viewers she gets
