They are literally doing everything right. After suffering through Council's debut and collab glitches, the quick degredataion of their streaming frequency and laziness, Advent's appreciation of how lucky they are and how hard they are working to maintain that pace is a real attraction by itself.
I know it's still just the first week but I hope they continue to try their best, and hope that they can quickly become the top vtubers they have the potential to be.

The gen is amazing both the talents and the behind the scenes work that goes into them.
The character designs and art are all great, no goblina like Irys, no fucked up bodies like Kronii, no Sanas.
It seems like all of them were properly coached and filtered to ensure good kayfabe, appreciation of their fans and a positive vibe embracing Hololive and their characters. Nothing like Kronii hating her character or anyone lecturing fans on how to make fanart of them.
Literally all of them go hard on some kayfabe. Nerissa saying she's shameless, wears no underwear and wants lewd fanart. The doggos being kayfabe maxxx, even Shiori is putting some work to keep a persona, the rock is legit gremlin.
The pre debut marketing was great it was very quick one trailer to announce them, another trailer to show them, and the debuts.
The vibe and mood of the gen is very up beat and high energy and fun.
The debut song is god tier like I have not seen it praised enough, it deserves way more recognition. It sounds super fun, it's very catchy and the lyrics are pretty much a love letter to fans asking them to give them a chance and welcome them and ensuring them fun times are ahead.
Everyone's first streams have been well planned and paced. And they seem to have spent enough time together to have fun stories like Bijou sleeping with Nerissa.
It's all very solid work and the only complain I have is that Bijou and the doggos have had some stream crashes and technical issues so I don't know if Cover actually got them good computers for their debut and for a company as big as Cover they should absolutely provide a high end machine to all of their new members.

they have the advantage of watching en 1 and 2 through all their highs, lows, and absolute retard moments (all of myth, bae, kronii).
but this doesn't mean they won't make mistakes. they will mistakes, and they have the potential to be big, if not graduation worthy big
each of them are bringing something interesting to the table, and as far as we can tell, the social anxiety is either not present or quite suppressed, which makes each of them already endearing. and they actually have an awesome singer in their group.
however, i do question their stamina. how will they hold up in a post-pandemic world? the only reason myth actually succeeded as well as they did was because of the lockdowns. council rode the pandemic wave, but that buff ran out quickly, hence their stagnation, relatively speaking. this is also true of myth, i do not see any of them legitimately breaking anymore subscriber milestones, contrary to kiara wanting to break 2mil soon (ain't gonna happen). and any fake subscriber accounts will be culled soon, which will likely be a reckoning at the end of this year.
are any of these girls actually as popular as the subscription count states? does gura really have 4 mil?
in spite of this, including a worsening economy, what strength does advent have to endure it? there are problems coming as a result of themselves, as a result of other hololive members, and as a result of things going on in the world.
will they last, or will they just coast over time? we'll see

Baelz is an ambitious girl who does multiple project so thats already a plus unfortunately I think her early days have maybe damaged her image a bit.
She was always and I mean always screaming and her negative charisma didn't help. I remember when HoloEN was doing a minecraft collab for the ID portal she was getting ignored a lot she even screamed to get their attention on something and you could hear her in Everybody's stream but nobody responded she even said herself after nobody care...
She's not a chaotic girl and trying to be one for the first months screwed her over.

Irys was and I believe is still mismanaged her music is barely promoted and she barely promote it.
I know its easy to say but if they aimed for the western audience they should have made more songs in the style of suisei last album and the cherry on the cake is that she's hurting her throat recording these song so she sometime has to disapear for 2 weeks..But Irys herself is a fun streamer, it's just that Irys doesnt plan collab she doesnt plan event and if she's not invited she stay in her corner which is a shame.

When you look at all of this No wonder no there has reached the 1million even though they debuted in the pandemic and yes I know about the subs cull Holox had it too and guess what 2 of them have reached 1million and the third if things continue this way is going to reach it faster than Irys who debuted 6 months earlier and her subscriber unlike council weren't even nuked so she has even less of an excuse.
