Most pros have at least 30cm and some of the best aimers are at 40 and higher. Yukio, Uruca, Kawase, Imphal and Sweetdreams for example are all close around 800DPI and 1.2 ingame (or even lower) and someone like Selly is around 800 DPI and 1.5 ingame with the best WM in the game. All fairly low sens. No idea why Matsuri hasn't tried it already. Her aim would go off the roof in a couple of months if she just started lowering bit by bit

Bad positioning and bad setup. Masanori ended up explaining to Megumi how sniper in that situation was frankly useless. She was exposed and couldn't do anything, and then after she was raised by Matsuri she didn't have anything to fall back on once her secondary was depleted. Matsuri and Masanori both had to go super aggressive to give Megumi time to heal and the push failed.

I think they're still trying to make sense of where they are. Kaguya (Fubuki) was hosting a party when Dice (Aruran) came across a dice in her home. They rolled it and got isekai'd to a white room with nothing but an origami bear.

They've been rolling and realized that the dice transports them to different rooms. A few rooms are extremely dangers: one of them has a giant enemy crab, the other has a team rocket-esque duo with a golem-like familiar called stoneman. The other has some kind scissor fiend. At the moment they are trying to figure out how to defeat the crab. I think at this point they've figured out that they can change the orikami's form? And it is currently a crane.

Well, they DO get backlash, they just don't care and that's what makes them based imo. Surely you've seen the response from fans when FBK collabs with Oga or Matsuri collabs with apex males or Rikka & Aruran just now. There's always a huge chunk of fans who will never tune into those collabs and just spread bad word about them.
Nothing stops other holos from doing the same as well but they're too concerned about the potential backlash that they don't want to take the risk.

Like I said, it may not seem like much now. Likes to dislikes are much more volatile when a stream is fresh. That said, APEX backlash is very different and I would say worse. Gachikois who can't tolerate Matsuri collabing with males are gachikois she doesn't care to have. APEX is something she takes more personally and even one comment can really hurt her. The level of toxicity per person is way higher.

Cover featured their group tech which allows them to create lobbies of live2d participants eliminating the need to do the janky group video chat method. It's everywhere really, these people are just not very outspoken about it outside of 5ch or /hlg/ and the like. But regardless you can still see some anti pop up every now and then in any platform to complain about male collabs or apex or whatever. Twitter, Superchats, regular comments or spam, and all kinds of jap/chink forums outside of 5ch as well.

But most of all you can see it in the viewership. For any holo a male collab means only a fraction of their regulars will watch. Not that there's anything wrong with it, I think it's better that they just don't tune in instead of coming to flame and whine. Not watching the stream is one thing, bad wording her is another. Most of her subscribers or fans are only interested in her idol side and her dirty humor anyway. I'm not complaining, but I think we have to admit that this is the lowest point in a long time. the past cr cup was hardly entertaining for both spectators and matsuri. and the next 2 weeks were really good, even a sense of the past passion for streams. but from the very beginning of June we began to fall into the abyss of the apex unseen before, even in the darkest moments. 2 not the most interesting tournaments (the 3rd is coming), any non-tournament interactions all come down to people from the apex. in the end, everything came to the fact that she streams the apex with the operator from the apex tournaments (correct if I'm wrong) with 300 subscribers. 10 days ago, playing in the same lineup, she had no idea of streaming it, but then at least there was an interest in the possible capture of a master. why stream it now? just keep playing without stream until you get bored or if it is important to show this particular lineup - why not do the same as with a future clubhouse collaboration with other old apex friends? I am always happy with her interactions with wat and do not even mind if she wants to help a new friend, but why apex? and no break will help. the whole June was one big vacation with several days of streams not yet rescheduled and not canceled. she played apex all this time on and off streams. guess what she will do when she goes on vacation? now she is obviously not interested in any activities. So to me it very much seems that she is not enjoying her job recently, because if you go even half a year back in time she was very enthusiastic about a large variety of activities and had little to no problems delivering any content. Some level of burnout is normal in the workplace, what I posted wasn't hate towards Matsuri but rather concern about forcing it when she seems unwilling to continue working in her current state.

Well, I can only speak for myself though, but my rants are all out of love and concern. I've been an extremely devout matsurisu since 2019 and I love her to death. I have no doubt that most others ranting in this thread are the same.

This is really exacerbated by her stream of conscience being available to everyone through various means. If she weren't willing to expose her thoughts this would seem less problematic. Personally, the criticism doesn't align with what her content over even just the past month has been. She's had a good breadth of content even when compared to APEX. And I've already explained before why I believe even her apex content is fine whether she's solo (which we haven't gotten in a while) or collabing. I just don't buy it to be honest. She won't stream if she doesn't want to - that's really the bottom line. If it ends up being apex we can conclude it's what she wants to do. It's also why we get can occasionally get a day in-between of no content but still see her posting her ranking progress - when she doesn't want to stream she simply won't, and that's fine. I'd be more soured on her playing Nier if she opts to go into it without really feeling motivated to do so, for instance.

Personally, my concerns are more around what she deals with behind the scenes regarding the stress around her recent master push and this month being particularly bad due to the extreme amount of apex tournaments there are in such a short timespan. I agree, though an argument could be made whether her Apex content provides entertainment on a similar level to her other content, and whether solos or collabs are better. Obviously most of this comes down to subjective preference, but I would argue that there's some objective aspects you can talk about as well. For example, the fact that as a streamer/entertainer who is known to be very talkative and interactive with her viewers, you don't get that with collabs or tournaments. In an industry where viewer interaction is pretty damn important, and what is normally celebrated about our favorite streamers and chuubas, you lose that big charm point with Matsuri's collabs/tournaments.
Look at her current stream for example. What you see isn't really Natsuiro Matsuri, this is what off-stream Matsuri playing with her friends looks like. Of course you can get entertainment value out of it, I'm not claiming otherwise, but what I am saying is that you lose a big aspect of what normally is a thing that people love about her. Another argument could be made that if she doesn't feel like streaming and doing the things that she normally does as a streamer, she can pop an Apex collab because it doesn't really require anything from her as an entertainer. She just presses a button and plays the game with her friends without needing to even think about the people watching her.

Adding to that, while her Apex content is fine, if there continues to be an upward trend of increasing tournaments and Apex streams, that means her content will become extremely one-note. And that's absolutely terrible for a streamer who is loved by many for their greatly varied content and having something for everyone to enjoy.

I've watched all holos to some extent especially when I first found out about Hololive. Some less, some more, but either way Matsuri was my first along with Haato and FBK and she became my oshi very quickly and after that I haven't had a lot of interest to watch other streams, just clips mostly.

I made a program for archiving fleets, and it just so happens that spaces use the same internal Twitter APIs as fleets for whatever reason, so I decided to make it automatically archive space streams as well. This is one of the first spaces that I've been able to test it on though, and it broke at the start, so I had to manually restart it after I noticed. It should work for future streams though (probably).
If you want to manually record them, you can open your browser network monitor (Ctrl+Shift+E) when you're listening to the stream and copy the m3u8 URL into streamlink or ffmpeg, and it should just be able to record it normally like any stream.

Yes, in the network tab. That's what Ctrl+Shift+E brings up in Firefox, but I guess maybe the keyboard shortcuts are different for Chrome than Firefox.
The m3u8 link should constantly be reloading in the network tab as the stream plays (every second or two), so it should be easy to spot.

Read the long rants and tell me that there are no fair and valid criticisms. It's not just blind negativity, and most people are doing it out of love and care for Matsuri, not hate.
Whether you think these things are important and worth talking about or not is up to the person. Hell, some people are probably willing to let anyting slide even if she did something insane like delay the same stream for 3 months in a row every day. But you must at least see the points that people have made, even if you don't agree with them.

You can point out negative things and criticize her while still having her as your oshi though. I think recognizing your oshi's shortcomings is very important, even if she doesn't want to hear them directly. That's why we rant in these threads instead of venting out directly to her, besides she wouldn't listen if we did directly point it out. It has to be subtle critique

Also sometimes it's literally a case of 推せない even when you want to if she doesn't stream or baits (accidentally or on purpose) and cancels a stream. I'm sure we all would love to come in and call her cute every 5 seconds but if there's no stream we can't do that, right?

I'm a bit confused with her idea of the break.

Her first tweet says a complete break from solo streams, but her follow-up tweet says think of it as a decrease in solo stream frequency. Which is she leaning towards here? More of a complete stop or like once or twice a week?

Also she is immediately posting solo stream ideas and a MC tomorrow... I'm not sure that's a good idea. She really needs a break and immediately after taking it she's already planning a solo. Why? Wait till next week or something, gives her time to prepare mentally for delivering it. We know that at the moment making stream plans even for the following day is essentially a coin flip. At least take a few complete days off before trying to do anything to not risk it. Well, at least she can fall back and use the break as a reason if she decides to cancel it at the last minute I guess. I'm just really not buying the idea of a stream tomorrow already when she doesn't want to do solos right now.
