She was told she couldn't play it due to copywrite stuff. Then Mori decided to play it anyway, the game creator then got the legal email from cover AFTER her stream, confirming that cover very much believed the game was using stolen music from megaman. Which he then cleared up.
source: I did a search in flare discord for messages from game author.

All that happened same day as Flare got back from her 2 week break and it just got lost in the avalanche of "welcome back!" messages everywhere. She had tons of other work and streams piling up too.

It wouldn't surprise me if Flare just doesn't realize it's okay to play it now.
