It would make sense for Nijisanji to make more money from merch. The company takes most of the profits from merch and repeats the same factory deal merch around members even for birthday and anniversary merch.
Holo members are more involved with the creation and ideas for their merch specially in birthdays and anniversaries, they are know to take part in the funding of their merch, in return the members take more money from these sales.
