I don't think they can entirely blame a lack of management support for their stagnation when you see Niji EN just organize an entire event with zero management help. That was what Japan and Korea did before they were rich. Basically try to sell as much products as possible to America (back when America was generous to allow negative trade balance for their Allies for the sake of preventing communist revolution) instead of selling internally.

Indonesian vtubers follows the same path, growing the local market by leeching off overseas money and spend it by making projects made by local artists and musicians. And the projects itself slowly attracting new local fans.

This is not true. Kobo was riding the hype of MotoGP rain shaman meme. Her name is also made up of funny puns. Her naughty child-like demeanor attracted actual kids audience, and most of those kids are watching one rising popular streamer which is Windah Basudara. The kids were comparing Kobo to Windah and spread her name to their favorite streamer which then he reacted to Kobo and Zeta debut streams and gave his analysis. Kobo's style and taste are actually more aligned toward Milyhya / Manca. She said it herself that Manca is her idol.
