I took an approach to try and write something shorter and not let myself get bogged into putting in too much detail, but after feedback from those first two chapters, it's clear that's an approach that doesn't work super well with my writing style right now. On a fic I wrote for another show, I got my first review a month after release. Three years later, it has a lot more than that. Most of them liked it (save for some feedback on spelling, etc)

When I first wrote something that received negative feedback when I was like 15, I pretty much couldn't cope, went scorched earth and deleted everything I could from pure embarrassment. It is a stark lesson when you think you're hot shit and then find out you're just shit.

Nothing is stopping anyone from writing about any chuuba they want. The only problem with that is that /wg/ is pretty much only a writing community (i.e ideas, prompts, discussions, and criticism) when it comes to holomems and a few other chuubas (corpo or otherwise) ; for anyone else it's basically throwing your fics and discussions to the wind since no one else in thread would pay attention.

Yeah in theory you need a 'rules-medium' system (something in between those one-page roleplay systems and a full ttrpg system) that can be reasonably run with zero-players with good crunch/rules for non-combat actions. Maybe you could fiddle with a system from a forum quest and make it into something that can run without players but this seems like something that would need some work in order to make something ficworthy.
