They're already at least six months late in launching EN3 (and in a world where they weren't stupidly slow rolling things EN4 would be out too). In that time various smallcorps have released gens with talent that could have made up a Holo gen even if no one was a particular stand out superstar. Part of HoloJPs strength is the group dynamics, and you just can't have that to any meaningful degree with only a handful of talents, half of whom barely stream.

Though I suppose even Nijisanji ended up just recruiting JP talents for their latest EN gen, so the cupboard is pretty thin.

The issue about this take is that I have perfectly good male fleshtubers available to me that outstrip the vtubers in every single way. Not only that, they barely hold anything back.
