The main difficulty in making pie is that you need dough to make it, which means you need flour and thus both agriculture and mill to produce it. That said, you can probably make flour out of nuts, so if you can get risuners to grind them to powder, you can probably make several kinds of pie depending on what you stuff in it.

I know I don't have a vote but I would still like to express my opinions on some of these.
1. I approve both, and it should be whatever Warkop's two writers and their neighbors want, like 2434, nijimales, V7, and mhm want in my opinion since they are the ones effected by it.
2. I agree fully.
3. Option one makes no sense to me other than wanting to keep holos together, which is silly because of the province system. I defer however to the opinions of the local reps in this peninsula. (Maybe the Peninsula's name can be decided at one point by them, that would be cool!)

Using rentry to verify is not a bad idea, although it's reliant on the reps themselves making their rentry and remembering the edit code. I don't object to that idea (especially if it means people will use rentry themselves more, which will make archiving easier), but for now reps might want to link themselves posting the rentry in question for the verification instead of just posting the link to it, so that we know it's the rep who's editing instead of the archiver who copied the text into rentry when archiving.

The whole reason why I first pushed the issue to vote is because using geographical divide as a border between continents is more useful and consistent than a pretty arbitrary divide in the middle of the large penisula. Africa and Asia are divided and called as thus is largely because of Greeco-Roman influence, where the Mediterranean created a geographical divide and thus differentiated cultures and polities. The names were only later used to describe the continents themselves. Seeing as the people of Vitubia were aware of the rough geography of the world pretty early on, and the fact that the Penisula, being mostly occupied by Holo related countries/peoples, I really don't see much sense in cutting the peninsula in half other than aesthetic purposes. If possible I'd wish the meta naming and zoning of continents to be consistent with the in-universe naming to preserve continuity and aid communication.

The map and the borders, as it currently stands, are terrible. The aim of the Province system is to free up space, something that we desperately need, as shown by the /mans/ and /mhm/ timeloops, as well as provide more freedom for new reps.

With this system, any nation that does not have a rep or relevant lore would be deleted from the map, it's current lands being split up into smaller provinces. Those provinces can then be selected by any future rep that comes along, and a national border would be then set, after a vote. The exact number of provinces that a rep could choose is still up for debate, but I think both me, Mountain and Deadbro aim to make the overall size of the countries smaller, to accomodate any potential extra generals that might come in the future.

The other reason, as I stated, is more freedom. I personally hate the whole Holocontinent/Nijicontinent split, and with this idea, new reps would not be bound by those imaginary borders. If a new niji rep comes in and wants a small spot next to /who/ for example, he can get it. He would have to give good reasoning for it, and the thread would still vote on it in the end, but he could be placed there.

Then why would you support a split down the middle of the peninsula? That argument was presented as a case where previous conceptions of the categorization of landmasses were continued due to culture and tradition. The reason there was debate on how Africa, Asia and Europe should be divided is due to previous notions of the separation and thus the distinction of the landmasses, even though they were eventually aware they aren't separated by an ocean. You have to remember the world of Vitubia is different than the world we live in both in terms of history and geography. In Vitubia continuous landmasses are rare. And if we consider the mitosis theory of the /jp/-/vt/ split as the world's canon, that /vt/ is a almost carbon copy of /jp/, the debate of continent might not even be a thing because so much of the landmasses were already neatly divided by seas and oceans. So the concept and classification of continents would be a lot more rigid. One also needs to consider the progression of time and the "globalization" that is happening in Vitubia. Scholarly debate regarding the continental divide have probably died down considerably because there is really nothing to debate, unlike on Earth.
If you still want to have parts of the large penisula called something else, go for it. It should be technically considered a sub-continent.

The different Chuuba Empires of /jp/ were already relatively advanced before the /vt/-/jp/ split. The people of Vitubia should be aware of the classification and concept of continents. I personally think a lot of the disagreement on Earth are stemmed from politics, especially in the case of Russia. There can be distinctions between different classifications and categorizations of continents. Though as I said above, the geography of Vitubia is different. We already know where the "objective" continental divide is, and that is covered by the tectonics. The "continental divide" is purely subjective, and I don't mind the Holo nations considering to be Holocontinent (since Holonations are there) and Niji nations considering it to be Nijineutral due to historical reasons. As for the "strait" being on two continents, that's again, not particularly unusual if you consider the Bosphorus or New Guinea sometimes being slashed in two by Oceania/Asia division.
My point is, there is no reason to restrict writers since it's not just a non-issue, but also a potential conflict in-universe. There isn't a reason why everyone would have to decide on a precise subjective continental split.
